Please note this addition to the loot rules:
"12. Priority for ranged weapons for ranged classes, and for melee weapons for melee classes." We've always given this type of priority as melee weapon are a far more significant upgrade to the DPS of melee classes than ranged, and obviously the reverse holds true for ranged weapons.

For the sake of people who don't check out this sort of information:
Naxx-10 is item level 200 Naxx-25 is item level 213 Kel'Thuzad-25, Malygos-25, and Sarth-25 hard mode items are item level 226 Ulduar-10 is item level 219 Ulduar-25 is item level 226-239 So when Jaba talks about item level 213 in the updated loot rules, he means "Anything in Naxx besides 25-man Kel'Thuzad"

The details are: What if...hypothetically, someone is at 90 points...but does not roll on anything, saving it for that particular item they want, for several weeks after that point, clearly waiting for that particular item to drop...do they recieve no further points to their weighted roll? Isnt that a tad unfair that they have had the patience (or kindness) to allow others to accumulate gear before them or they are waiting for specific drops that potentially just doesnt drop? While still showning dedication by attending the raid to support others? Is it possible that we can continue to accumulate points beyond that....but only be limited to 1 weighted roll per raid up to a maximum of +90? Obviously there would be potential issues about players stockpiling their points, but ultimately others will be rolling on said items before them and they would still need to use the maximum weighted roll on the item they wanted..... Just some thoughts on that rule that just came to mind since I dont find myself rolling on much at the moment...

The details are: Kuskuh mentioned in raid that if an upgrade shows up, you should roll on it regardless because...well, an upgrade is an upgrade and you shouldn't save your roll. I disagree, however. If you want to save your roll for something you really want, by all means isn't that your choice? ![]() |
