  The timeline.
Posted by: Lucinther - 11-27-2010, 07:13 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - Replies (1)

"Three years have passed since the military forces of the Horde and Alliance first set foot on the shores of Northrend, and they now wage war amidst the disasters wrought by Deathwing's return to the world."

After some discussion and a very long wait for unclear responses from the GMs, the Iron-singers have reached a decision on our current timeline. We've spent a year in Northrend fighting against Arthas and the Scourge. Following the battle, we were given a much deserved one year vacation from the destruction and bloodshed of war... ...and then the unspeakable happened. The Shattering. Deathwing emerged and laid waste to Azeroth as we knew it. Finally after a year of rebuilding, we have reached present day. Orgrimmar and several other cities have been rebuilt. Sylvannas has begun her own personal war against the Alliance and the inhabitants of Gilneas. It has been a long three years. What will tomorrow hold?

With that.... What has everyone been doing during their much needed vacation? Post your story here.

  The new Horde

*pinned with a dagger to a post directly outside Grommash Hold*

To Garrosh Hellscream, son of Grommash Hellscream of the Warsong Clan, from Warlord Sreng'jin Skullclaimer of the Ironsong Tribe:

The Horde is dead, and you have slain it.  In the few short weeks since Warchief Thrall placed the mantle of leadership on your unworthy shoulders, you have done what the combined might of our many foes could not.  You have alienated our allies in the Eastern Kingdoms, driven the Darkspear Tribe from Orgrimmar, and murdered your wisest advisor.

I am withdrawing myself as a member of your Horde.  I impose no such condition on the members of my Tribe; unlike some leaders I understand the dangers of tyranny.  But for myself, I will not set foot in Orgrimmar until the grave injustices of your leadership are corrected.

The spirit of the Horde endures, and those of us who carry it in our hearts will see that it survives your reign.

  Fires in the Night

The Guild Hall is in ruins. It has been destroyed by the elementals brought to the hall by the Twilight's Hammer cultists. Many of the Tribe are injured and exhausted from the heated battle to defend the hall. What is our next step?

  Adult chat channel
Posted by: Sreng - 10-21-2010, 06:55 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - Replies (4)

Hi folks,

That was an embarassing subject heading to write! Well anyway, I have known of the existence of the so-called Ironsong adult chat channel for a while now, but it has been pointed out to me that maybe we should rethink the idea. Those responsible for its creation gave it an ironic name, but I am concerned that the name could get out and be a bit misleading about who we are and what we are about. I don't like that it has IST in the name.

Now I won't tell people what global channels people can and can't use or create. What I will say is that if you're going to create something and stick our tribe's name on it, make sure it meets with the code of conduct. To that end, I will ask that those of you who choose to use this channel, come up with a new name that doesn't implicate the rest of us. And for gods' sake keep your pants on.

  Hallow's End Ball
Posted by: Lucinther - 10-20-2010, 04:18 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - Replies (8)

Next week's moot we will be gathering in and around the Ravenholdt Manor for the Hallow's End Ball. This of course is a formal costumed occasion and will include a costume contest near the closing of the festivities. Prizes ( prizes yet to be determined ) will be awarded for the most creative and stylish costumes. For the Ball you should bring along a friend to enjoy the festivities and to dance with.

Applicants and those not in the tribe are more than welcome to attend and participate as well.

Please make a note upon the totem if you plan on attending so that we may plan accordingly for reserved space inside the manor. Also any who are skilled in the cullinary arts, please feel free to cook for the tribe! Mages, those tasty mana strudels are always welcome too!

Judges will be needed!

(( unfortunately (as of right now) I will be unable to attend the event myself, due to work, but I hope the event still continues! ))
