Hunter talents and spells

I can't wait for these. I'm definitely going to spec my *coughnelvencough* Hunter to Marksmanship... And the ability to ditch my aggro on someone else with that spell? Aspect of the Viper to regenerate mana? The talents didn't impress me TOO much (I still adore them), but the spells are to die for.

Alright, I just worked out a new spec. Considering how tilted my char is right now to crits and pvp, I decided to be as one sided as possible towards that end. This is the spec I came up with:

With this spec, I should crit often and well. The 41 point talent in the survival tree will really help as I can shoot multi-shot 2 times back to back. Talk about damage.

With this spec: I will have great survivability in pvp due to melee talents. I will also be great in raids as I'll be able to dish out big damage.

And since I'm addicted to making talent builds, here is my new and improved Beast/Marks. I'm going for high rate of fire, pet damage of course, and a pvp bend.

And, if I really wanted to stink at pvp and have a pure raid build, this is what I would do:

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but Blizzard posted a long(ish) copy of the changes made to Hunter mechanics in the Burning Crusade. It's a good read, and possibly essential to those of us rather deeply entrenched in our L60 Hunter ways. Agi/AP/Crit/Dodge has been changed, traps, feign death, aimed shot, and wyvern shot all have significant changes.

Those are some big changes. I really don't like the change to traps. It used to take skill to use traps in pvp. Now, it doesn't. Ah well. And I don't even know if I should get aimed shot now. I suppose I have to in order to get that crit damage bonus, but it seems fairly useless now. I never used it in pvp anyways. Wyvern Sting suddenly looks good.

Maybe this

is what I'll go for. Lose wing clip improvement but gain trap improvement. I also think the recoursefulness will be very useful. The new build is mainly to give wyvern shot a chance. I've never used it before, so I'm curious.
