This means another mage will need to tank Krosh if the tribe goes to Gruul's lair.
I just checked Freithe's banked gear, and he wouldn't be able to do it. About 9k hps, 8k mana, but 0% spell hit wearing that gear, so one missed spellsteal and he'd likely be toast.

FYI: I'm also packing and shopping for a trip, so its iffy whether I'll be there for Gruul. I'd like to come, but it requires me being fully packed and ready to leave at some ungodly hour of the morning tomorrow.
